About

Ariel Fournier is an associate producer at CBC Edmonton. She moved to Alberta in 2013 for a radio producer internship at the to the Banff Centre.  Previously, she worked as an associate producer for CBC, primarily in Vancouver and briefly in Toronto.

Ariel has documented stories about a German living off-the-grid in Desolation Sound, a Canadian who joined a cult in California, a college Professor teaching a literature class inside a prison, a man who tracked down his long-lost sister living in North Korea, and a mother raising a dozen adopted children on Vancouver Island. Before moving to Alberta, her last radio piece profiled a king at Medieval Times, a medieval-themed dinner theatre establishment. Please do not hold that against her.
